Mini White Papers



I admit that many of my posts end up being longer than the “typical” blog post. But, hey, who said that this blog was “typical?” The reason why some of my posts end up being so long is because I try to include three things in each post: an explanation of the issue (including supporting facts), the situation and issue as it relates to healthcare e-marketing, and, finally, my thoughts on a solution. Why stop with just one? In other words, I give you the background, the problem, and how to solve it.

You’ll notice that some posts now sport a handy icon that indicate they are part of the Mini White Paper series. These are posts on a general issue that can be re-applied to many other situations. For example, my post on The Myth of Adverse Event Reporting covers how pharma can deal with adverse event reports and how often they really occur online. The information in that post can be used in a number of different situations. So, that’s what it takes to be a “Mini White Paper.” And, yes, they’re long.
