Genius post with fabulous examples. Keep it simple and give them something to remember. That doesnt disclude the need for that final 'something'. The secret ingredient that no-one can quite identify. It is somewhere in the area of being genuine. It's what makes us attracted to the stranger we just met. It's what made me click that pringle banner 20 odd times!

Very compelling, thorough post. I think Posterous is probably the simplest blog platform on the market now. (If there's something easier to use, let me know) I use it for my side project, the3six5

Simplicity marketing is great, but I wonder how that would work for big pharma.
.-= Daniel´s last blog ..A guide to Foursquare etiquette =-.

Ryan, Totally agree. Yes, you have a bit of a bias, but a very reasonable one in this case. If your products can achieve this for marketers, then I think you're certainly onto something. It's nearly impossible for your average brand manager to monitor, interpret, and take action on everything that comes in. I thought this would be a discussion for another topic. You'll probably appreciate my post "Pharma Should Forget About Social Media Monitoring" (http://bit.ly/2eQW0m).

I may be biased, but I think we'll see more platforms to help marketers unify and streamline their efforts across many different networks, communities, platforms, protocols, and even other platforms. There's simply too much fragmentation and change out there for marketers to keep up with it all and worry about making authentic connections with their customers.
