Diagnosis In: Twitter’s Dying a Slow Death

One more post that’s non-pharma/healthcare specific, so I put it on iMedia Connection.

Please check out my latest post: Diagnosis In: Twitter’s Dying a Slow Death

Here’s a little teaser: “Okay, so Twitter may have more than a few months to live, but it’s not going to be around for much longer the way I see it for one simple reason. It’s not because of all the issues with security that have been all over the digital news lately. It’s not because there’s something better. It’s not even because someone’s going to buy Twitter. Twitter has a terminal disease and nothing really can save it. The disease? Spam.”

Perfect… This does have a premonition feel to it for when Google Wave goes live.

There may be so much volume, but people are still coming in and contributing to it. The tools we all use to comb through the data are becoming more and more useful.

I’m not leaving Twitter anytime soon. I’ve built a good network there, and I’m fairly particular about adding people and engaging.

There’s gonna be more and more spam, though… that seems to be the way…

I’m with you Brad, I’m not leaving yet either. The good still outweighs the bad, but I’ll still be searching for something even better…Google Wave might just be it.

Yeah I just deleted my Twitter account because I was spending more time blocking spammers than reading my friends tweets. I won’t miss it.
