I think there is a great deal of opportunity here for other companies and they'll find it hard not to match this offer, as other car companies have felt compelled to match Hyundai's Assurance program. Let's not forget the PR benefits in the clinic as well. Doctors may choose to prescribe (and patients may request) the Pfizer option as a little added insurance policy. Plenty of folks are still fearing more layoffs. I believe there will be more versions of this program, even after the economy starts to rebound, as part of "good faith" healthcare reform.
